The event team prepared, hoped and worried right up to the last minute. But now it is certain: the KULTURKRAFTTAGE, which was to take place for the first time from 19 to 21 March 2021 at PS.SPEICHER in Einbeck, will have to be postponed by one year. The rules that were issued in connection with the coronavirus pandemic and continue to apply prohibit live events such as the 1st KULTURKRAFTTAGE in Einbeck until at least 22 March. The new multi-day cultural event for southern Lower Saxony, which combines music and language in the best possible way, will therefore only open its doors on the weekend from Friday, 18 March 2022, to Sunday, 20 March 2022. All artists who would have performed this year have already confirmed their participation for 2022. All tickets remain valid. However, they can also be returned. The KULTURKRAFTTAGE will take place in the PS.Halle in the PS.SPEICHER, a listed former granary that now houses a unique exhibition with more than 400 historic vehicles. "A basic idea of the festival is the encounter of the artists with each other and the artists with the audience. This is not possible now," says Julia Hansen, Artistic Director of KULTURKRAFTTAGE. However, in order to make a KULTURKRAFT moment tangible, the matinée "Lyrical Intermezzo - Heine meets Jazz" with Julia Hansen and Heikko Deutschmann as well as the musicians Rhani Krija, Jörg Siebenhaar and Thomas Zander will be streamed from the PS.Halle in Einbeck on Sunday, 21 March at 11 am. Julia Hansen has enlisted Cicero companion Andreas Barkhoff and his production company Big Mama Production to film the stream. Nevertheless, the tickets for the matinée will remain valid for 2022, when there will be a different programme with Julia Hansen and her fellow artists. The stream and further information about the matinée can be found at www.kulturkrafttage.de/live. The stream is free of charge for all interested parties because it is made financially possible by the sponsors of the KULTURKRAFTTAGE. The KULTURKRAFTTAGE are sponsored by (as of 3 March 2021) AKB-Stiftung, Bajohr OPTECmed, Deutscher Musikrat, Einbecker BürgerSpital, Kultur- und Denkmalstiftung Landkreis Northeim, KWS SAAT, Landschaftsverband Südniedersachsen, PS.SPEICHER, Sartorius, Automobilgruppe Siebrecht, Sparkasse Einbeck and Stiftung Niedersachsen.
