Einbeck Beer City Run – kilometers for a good purpose

On 6 May 2023, the annual Einbeck Beer City Run entered its 19th edition with 1,200 runners and numerous supporters. From a Bambini run around the Marktkirche church to a total of five different routes of varying lengths, there was something for everyone. For the first time, KWS acted as sponsor and namesake of the 24.9-kilometre "KWS Hubelauf".

A total of €1,868 was donated to the hospice at the annual Einbecker Bierstadtlauf with 1,200 runners taking part.

In keeping with the motto "If you run, you help", a record number of just over 100 employees also represented the KWS Running Team in their orange uniforms, thereby supporting the Sternenlichter children's and youth hospice in Göttingen. Every kilometre run was equivalent to one euro donated.

In the end, KWS decided to double this amount so that a total of €1,868 could be donated to the hospice.
