In accordance with Article 21, Section 1 and Article 22, Section 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, I hereby notify you that my voting rights in KWS SAAT AG, Einbeck, exceeded the thresholds of 5% and 10% on July 12, 2004, and since that time have amounted to 10.61%. These voting rights are attributable to me in full in accordance with § 22 (1) No. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act.
