KWS is a family and value-oriented company. Trust, mutual respect, integrity and sustainability form a stable set of values, which is also implemented in our entire supply chain. For generations, we have worked in partnership with our suppliers and service providers. Our objective is to ensure the socially and environmentally sound production of goods and procured services.
Additionally, we have expanded internal procurement rules and the General Conditions of Purchase (GCP). Since the 2013/2014 fiscal year, we have undertaken to comply with human rights as well as core labor standards of the International Labour Organization, labor and environmental protection standards, business ethics, fair market conduct and data protection.
The requirements are bundled in a supplier code of conduct (“Code of Business Ethics for Suppliers”). Compliance with the Code is regularly reviewed through audits and annual meetings.
In line with the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act we have published our Human Rights Policy that explains our human rights due diligence approach on how we assess and mitigate social and human rights risks and how we ensure that access to remedy is available, if necessary.
