To maximise beet yields, weed competition must be eliminated, especially during the early stages of growth. The CONVISO® SMART system has the power to control a number of challenging weeds.
The broad spectrum herbicide CONVISO® ONE can only be applied to SMART KWS varieties. Non-tolerant varieties are fully sensitive to ALS-inhibitor herbicides and would be damaged or killed by CONVISO® ONE.

Two CONVISO® ONE applications of 0.5 L / ha each time
- 1st application: When the very first fathen plants (Chenopodium album) reach 2 – 4 true leaves.
- 2nd application: When new emerging plants of fathen reach the 2 true leaf stage, with an interval of 10 – 14 days after first application.
If no fathen in the field: apply when the first plants of other broad-leaf weeds reach max. 2 – 4 true leaf stage.
We would encourage the use of a pre-emergence spray as part of a weed resistance management strategy.
