We hereby notify you in accordance with Articles 21 and 22 of the German Securities Trading Act that our own voting rights in KWS SAAT AG exceeded the threshold of 25% on July 12, 2004 and now amount to 25.0002%.
Our total share of voting rights, including allocations, continues to be more than 50% and, since July 12, 2004, the total share of voting rights has been 56.1676%. Of this, a share of voting rights of 25.0874% is attributable pursuant to Section 22 (2), sentence 1, 1st alternative WpHG a share of the voting rights of 25.0874 % and pursuant to Section 22 (2) sentence 1, 2nd alternative WpHG a share of the voting rights of 6.08 %.
